The Social Science Research Council (SSRC) welcomes applications for the 2024 Arnold Ventures Criminal Justice Innovation Fellowships in the United States.
To ensure more effective and equitable criminal justice practises, researchers must invent and assess novel policy options that local, state, and federal policymakers can implement.
The Arnold Ventures Criminal Justice Innovation Fellowships will provide funding to five postdoctoral fellows who are conducting policy-relevant causal research in order to develop and test cost-effective and scalable policy solutions that improve the efficacy and equality of criminal justice practices.
Fellows will be expected to study criminal justice practices in the United States and commit up to 25% of their time to Arnold Ventures research projects.
Benefits
The award amounts to $120,000 per year, with full benefits and annual salary increases.
Eligibility
Fellows will need to have received a Ph.D. no earlier than September 2019 and no later than September 2024. However, fellows may reside in a location of their choice.
