Assistant Professor in Accounting (Full Time position)

As an assistant professor at Tilburg University, the primary responsibilities will encompass:

  • Engaging in rigorous scientific research and publishing in high-quality academic journals.
  • Mentoring doctoral students and providing co-supervision.
  • Delivering lectures and guiding students through teaching and supervision.

Duration: tenure contract for 6 years, prospect of permanent employment contract

Starting Date: As soon as possible


  • A starting salary ranging from a minimum of € 5,247 to a maximum of € 6,002 gross per month for full-time employment
  • 8% holiday allowance and 8.3% year-end allowance
  • ABP pension fund

  • A Ph.D. in accounting (or a closely related field) or expect to complete a Ph.D. in the near future, 
  • Demonstrate creativity and the potential for outstanding achievements in research.
  • Possess excellent teaching skills
