Assistant Professor Positions in Organization Sciences

The Department of Organization Sciences at VU Amsterdam, Faculty of Social Sciences, offers three Assistant Professor (UD) positions in Organization Sciences.

Salary

  • On full-time basis the remuneration amounts to a minimum gross monthly salary of €3,821and a maximum €5,230
  • A maximum of 41 days of annual leave based on full-time employment

Job Requirements

  •  have a PhD in Social Sciences with a focus on Management and Organization Studies
  • are committed to conducting high quality research that matches the department’s four research clusters
  • have a strong research track record in relevant topics.
  • have publications in international high-quality scientific journals or at least a good pipeline of (submitted) papers, and you have contributed to academic conferences
  • are interested in different research methodologies
  • have clear research methodological competences (qualitative and/or quantitative, mixed methods).
  • have teaching experience and good teaching evaluations in the field of Organization Sciences or related.
  • an excellent communicator, and a team player.
  • have a Basic University Teaching Qualification (BKO) or similar, or are willing to acquire one.
  • have working relationships with stakeholders in society, as well as with relevant academic partners.
  • fluentcy in English and Dutch or willing to learn Dutch (most teaching is in Dutch)
