The Alliance of International Science Organizations, the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, and the institutes of Chinese Academy of Sciences (ANSO-CAS-TWAS/UNESCO) call for applications for the above-stated Master and PhD Scholarships for students/scholars from developing countries.
The University of Chinese Academy of Sciences (UCAS) has set up the UCAS Scholarship for International Students to sponsor young talents all over the world to pursue Master’s or Doctoral degrees, attend courses, conduct research, or pay academic visits at UCAS faculties/CAS institutes. The Scholarship also encourages international graduate students currently studying at foreign universities to come to study in joint programs.
The scholarship consists of both a full scholarship and a partial scholarship. The full scholarship provides a tuition waiver, application fee waiver, monthly stipend, basic accommodation, and medical insurance; while the partial scholarship covers some items of the Full.

Eligibility
Qualified applicants for ANSO-CAS-TWAS/UNESCO Master and PhD Scholarships must:
- Eligible applicants should NOT hold Chinese citizenship;
- Eligible applicants should be proficient in English or Chinese;
- For Master’s program applicants: you should be born after 1st January 1993 (inclusive);
- For PhD program applicants: you should be born after 1st January 1988 (inclusive);
- Eligible applicants should meet the admission criteria for international students of USTC/UCAS;
- Eligible applicants should NOT take up other assignments during the period of his/her scholarship.

- Full-Face Bust Photo with 2-Inch
- Complete CV with Detail Education and Research Experience
- Original Certificates of Master’s and Bachelor’s Degrees
- Original Transcripts of Master’s and Bachelor’s Study
- Proof of knowledge of English/Chinese
- Published Academic Papers (if available);
- Motivation Letter with Detailed Research Proposal;
- Two Reference Letters
- Provisional Acceptance Form (If have)
