The call for Submission of Concept Notes is currently ongoing for the TetFund National Research Fund (NRF) 2023 Grant Cycle.
Tetfund has set up a mechanism for a seamless online application of the stated Grant nationally and is asking interested and qualified people who are looking for financial grants to grow their diverse research across the country to apply. The Federal Government has approved money for the 2023 Grant Cycle, the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund) desires to educate the Nigerian research community in particular and the public in general.
The twenty-five prioritized Thematic Areas of research for the 2023 TETFund National Research Fund Grant are in three categories: Humanities & Social Sciences, Science, Technology & Innovation, and Cross-Cutting.

Eligibility
- This Call is open to Researchers in any of the Public Tertiary Institutions in Nigeria.
- Multi-Disciplinary and Interdisciplinary research, comprising researchers from various disciplines are encouraged to apply.
- The Principal Investigator (PI), must be TETFund beneficiary institution based, with the PI’s institution regarded as the Coordinating Institution for the project.
- An added requirement is that the Principal Investigator must not have an ongoing research Project under previous NRF grant cycles.

The application process for the 2023 TETFund National Research Fund Grant is entirely online. The Principal Investigator must click on the link below where he or she will receive detailed instructions on how to prepare and submit both the Concept Note and the Full Research Proposal.
