Applications are open for Associate / Full Professor Power Electronics Systems in the Power Electronics Laboratory (PELe) of the Electro-Mechanics and Power Electronics group at Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e).
The department is attempting to change the way power electronics research is viewed and conducted. The Laboratory has an opening for a new academic staff member. There is a preference for profiles that carry research experience in power electronics hardware-related topics; however, applicants from all areas of power electronics and across different seniority levels will be considered.
The focus will be on fresh and innovative ideas, a compelling vision for shaping the research landscape over the next ten years, and a track record of delivering. Next to your research quality, your educational skills are very important, as you will develop and teach Power Electronics courses at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.

Job Requirements
The department seeks candidates that meet the following requirements:
- PhD degree in Electrical, Electronic Engineering, Applied Physics or similar, with specialization in Power Electronics / Power Electronic Systems.
- Experience and reputation in a well-defined or emerging area of power electronic systems.
- Experience in the management of professionals, aimed at developing people and creating synergy.
- Strong academic and industry network; research interactions on the national and international level, proven by joint collaborations, projects, and publications.
- Ability to conduct high-quality academic research, demonstrated, for instance, by a relevant PhD thesis and/or publication(s).
- Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills demonstrate the potential of building your own research group.
- Excellent proficiency (written and verbal) in English.
