International Union Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (IUBMB) invites applications for its 2023 Early-Career Research Fellowships Award.
The Early-Career Research Fellowships are designed to support Early-career biochemists and molecular biologists, from countries that are full or associate members of IUBMB who need to travel to other laboratories in the IUBMB region to learn new state-of-the-art techniques or for other forms of scientific collaboration or advanced training. Early-career researchers are those who received their Ph.D. more than 10 years prior to the award but not more than 20 years prior to the award.
Benefits
The fellowship will cover travel and incidental costs, as well as living expenses, to a maximum of US$ 5,000.
Eligibility
The fellowships are available to early-career researchers who are citizens of/or work in countries that are full or associate members of IUBMB.
Application Process
Interested applicants are to provide the following information when applying for the IUBMB Early-Career Research Fellowships
- Research proposal
- Comprehensive budget indicating all costs and all other sources of support
- Letter of acceptance from the Head of the host institute
- Letter of recommendation
- List of publications by the direct host during the past five years.
