A postdoctoral position in Artificial Intelligence and Education is available at the Bernoulli Institute of the University of Groningen in the Netherlands.
The successful candidate will research methods to extract cognitive skills from education data, help design an education support system, and help set up validation studies for these systems. The project will be carried out in collaboration with MemoryLab (memorylab.nl) and Noordhoff publishers.
Candidates are also expected to interact scientifically with other research staff and students, as well as organize and participate in seminars.

Salary
- a salary based on qualifications and experience between € 3,877 and € 5,090 gross per month for a full-time position
- a holiday allowance of 8% gross annual income
- an 8.3% end-of-the-year allowance
- a personal budget of € 1,000 per year that is dedicated for additional training and career activities
- minimum of 29 holidays and additional 12 holidays in case of full-time employment
- a limited full-time position for a period of 18 months.
Job Requirements
Applicants for the Post-doc in Artificial Intelligence and Education should have a PhD degree in artificial intelligence or cognitive science with expertise in:
- Models of Cognition
- Machine Learning
- Human experimentation.
