Applications are welcome Shanghai Government 2022-2023 Scholarships for International Students at Donghua University.
Each year, DHU accepts about 40 Shanghai Government Scholarship students from all over the world to pursue undergraduate (bachelor’s) or postgraduate (master’s or doctoral) degrees.
Donghua University is one of China’s National Key Universities, directly under the Ministry of Education (MoE), and is among the Project 211 and the “Double First-Class University Plan”
DHU is accelerating its efforts to become “a high-level research university with local first-class, international influence, and features.” DHU has three campuses in Shanghai: Sonqjiang Campus, Yan’an Road Campus, and Xinhua Road Campus. Duration
- Master’s degree programs: 2.5-3 years (might be extended for 1-year Chinese language study)
- Doctoral degree programs: 4 years (might be extended for 1-year Chinese language study)

Eligibility
To qualify for Shanghai Government 2022-2023 Scholarships, applicants must be
- a non-Chinese citizen in good health.
- a master’s degree holder under the age of 40 when applying for doctoral programs.
- a bachelor’s degree holder under the age of 35 when applying for master’s programs.
- high school graduate under the age of 25 when apply for bachelor’s programs
- excellent in academic and extra-curricular performance
