The World Heritage Scholarship is looking for global researchers and cultural creators for its 2024 international residence scholarship.
One aim of UNESCO’s World Heritage Convention is to create links between people and promote international cooperation, with peace as a central concept. The World Heritage Residence Scholarship supports these important ideas and aims at generating interest in and understanding of humankind’s common memory through World Heritage sites. Gävleborg therefore regularly searches for new ideas to establish artistic and creative contacts between the decorated farmhouses of Hälsingland and other World Heritage sites around the world, combined with culture, music, art, and much more.
Benefits
The World Heritage Scholarship is a residency that involves
- staying and living in one or two World Heritage farms for one month
- a grant of AP. 4.500 euros (50.000 SEK) to carry out the idea or project in question
Eligibility
The scholarship is international and can be applied by people from all over the world, such as researchers, artists, or other cultural actors.
